Restricting Access to Your Web Site

If you want to require a user id and password for users to access portions of your site, use the Password Protected Web Directories option on the Utilities menu in ServerTools.

Note to FrontPage users: FrontPage users should NOT use this option as it will interfere with the FrontPage extensions.  To password protect areas of a web site built with FrontPage, refer to the instructions found in FrontPage help.
