SSH Access (Secure Telnet)

Like telnet, SSH gives you command line access to the server, but without the security risks of telnet. To enable SSH on your virtual server, choose the SSH Access (Secure Telnet) option from the <kbl=7>ServerTools</a> Utilities menu. If this option is not available, you will need to <kbv=plans>upgrade your hosting plan</a>.

Once SSH is enabled on your virtual server, you will need an SSH client to login. SSH clients can be downloaded for most platforms at [http://www.FreeSSH.org](http://www.freessh.org target=_blank). Use your FTP username and password to login with SSH.
